Roger Dee Laird Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Dee Laird of Waldron, Indiana, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine C. Laird (Coers) and Robert "Bob" H. Laird; his wife Cathy (Comer); his brother Anthony "Tony" W. Laird; his aunts and uncles, Linda Mann, Mary Frances Bush, Nile Coers, Dwain Laird, Bill Laird and John Bush; his father-in-law Stephen Comer; his sister-in-law Carol S. Comer; his niece Briana Springman (Gobel); and his nephew-in-law Jay Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Emily C. Laird and Mary C. Knepp; his son-in-law Joas D. Knepp; his granddaughters, Vera C. Knepp and Elena C. Knepp; his sister Susan L. Kuhn; his siblings-in-law, Rex D. Kuhn and Kerri Laird; his mother-in-law Mary C. Comer; his brother-in-law Michael Comer; his aunts, Faith Laird, Lossie Laird, Susan Coers and Nancy Brazier; and his pet Lucky Allen James Laird. He is also survived by uncle, Dave Brazier; several nieces and nephews; many cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mount Pisgah Baptist Church (3718 E Blue Ridge Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
