It is with sadness that the passing of Carla Cain of Walkerton, Indiana is shared. Carla, born on September 29, 1953, passed away on August 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Carla will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Carla by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Carla is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Carla’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Melissa Jablonski and Linda Little. She is survived by: her husband Michael Cain; her children, Tanya Brown (Andrew) of Cape Coral, James Cain (Melanie) of Walkerton and Edward Cain of Walkerton; her sisters, Laura Haug of South Dakota and Sandra Sobiak of Washington State; and her mother-in-law Phillis Stoner of Georgia. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walkerton American Legion Post 198 Pavilion (302 Legion Dr, Walkerton, IN 46574).
