Hunter C. Rush Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Hunter C. Rush of Walkerton, Indiana. Hunter, born on September 2, 2000, passed away on October 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Hunter for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Hunter’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Charles Rush. He is survived by: his parents, Eric Rush and Kari Rush (Tharp); his wife Kristen Rush (Gmiterek); his daughters, Eden and Ellie Rush; his grandparents, Tom and Debbie Tharp; and his brothers, Justin Rush (Eve) of Trenton and Cannon Rush. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Walkerton American Legion.
