Carolann Young Obituary

We bid farewell to Carolann Young of Wanatah, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 9, 2025 at the age of 68. Carolann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Simatovich and Marjorie Simatovich; and her brother Stephen Simatovich II. She is survived by: her children, Denise Foster (Michael), Dusty Young (Katie) and Renee Sowers (Dennis); her grandchildren, Cody, Rose, Mikayla, Julia and Dennis Jr.; her great grandchildren, Elayna, Alexander and Draven; and her sisters, Rosemary Spieth (Michael) and Leona Sibo (Dave). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
