He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Henry and Helen Janet Hamann (Malik). He is survived by: his spouse Tao Wu "Rosa" Hamann; his children, Jeff Hamann (Stephanie) and Stacey Han (Frank Cheng); his grandchildren, Max, Delaney, Aubrey Hamann and Yuling Cheng; and his brother Russell Hamann.
