She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmont Haines and Marie Haines; her husband George C. Embry; her son-in-law Tony Bragg; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Haines, Robert, Lucille Embry, Richard Embry, Paul, Patricia Embry and Mary Embry.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Embry (Patty), Linda Bragg, Ed Embry (Linda) and Betty Ann Jones; her brother George Haines (Jane); and her grandchildren, Mike Embry (Nikki), Lori Hardesty (Jeff), Joe Embry (Marlene), Dede Flaherty (Sean), Todd Bragg (Holly Eldredge), Scott Embry (Andrea), Julie Smith (Todd), Brian Meekin (Amy), Brad Meekin (Jamie) and Stephanie Wolf (Ryan). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Pointe-Applegate Chapel (801 N Huntington Ave, Warren, IN 46792). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ellen's memory to the Heritage Pointe Sewing Department or the Heritage Pointe Chapel.
