We announce the death of Martha Applegate of Warren, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on June 22, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Keele and Pauline Keele (Griffey); her husband Charles "Tom" Applegate; her brothers, Marvin "Buster" Keele, Leroy Keele and Gary Keele; and her grandson Charles Edward Applegate.
She is survived by: her children, Charles T. Applegate, Jr. (Patty) of Huntington, Indiana and Brenda Applegate of Bluffton, Indiana; her grandchildren, Cylest, Amber, Megan and Paige; her great grandchildren, Addison, Zoey, Emma, Ella-Rae, Nadine and EJ; and her sisters, Carol Ferrell (Dwight) of Wartrace, Mary Holton (David) of Shelbyville and Sandy Grubbs (Kenley) of Wartrace, Tennessee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
