William L. Boxell Obituary
We announce the death of William L. Boxell of Warren, Indiana, who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 88. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. William will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew William will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. William’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnathan "Earl" Boxell and Johnina Boxell (Long); his wife Bonnie Boxell (Buckland); his son Jeffery A. Boxell; and his sister Mona Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Boxell (Sherri) of Indianapolis and Cynthia Samples of Centerville; and his sister Deanna Johnston of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 11201 S Marion Rd 35, Marion, IN 46952.
