It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Robert Shafer (Warsaw, Indiana), who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Benjamin Robert Shafer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen Berniece Shafer (Schue) and Robert Eugene Shafer; his former life partner Linda Shafer; his daughter Bonnie Lyons Misener; and his granddaughters, Lyndsay Allison Sanchez (Poe) and Katie Hoffert.

He is survived by : his former life partner Linda Lyons; his wife Karla J. Shafer; his children, Greg (Claudia), Herman Howard, Joshua Howard, Wonnie Shafer, Stefanie (Andrew) and Spangle; and his sister Anne Shafer. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.
