He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard F. Vermillon and Helen Vermillon (Chaput); his son Owens Patrick Vermillon; and his sisters, Dorothy Burns and Helen Haywood.
He is survived by: his wife Venita Jo Owens; his children, Bernard "Benny" Vermillon of Salida, CO and Peggy Myles (Michael) of Warsaw; his daughter-in-law Mary Vermillon of Hendersonville, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Myles of Scottsdale, AZ and Mackenzie Shireman (Nathan) of Warsaw; his great grandchildren, Millicent "Millie" Shireman and Natalie Shireman; and his sister Mary Ann Conrad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either St. Cecelia Catholic Church in Glen Carbon or Sacred Heart Church in Warsaw.
