She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Joyner, Catherine Diveris (John) and Cynthia Joyner; her sister Catherine Reinking; her granddaughters, Mari McMullen (Brian) and Despina Ellis (Freddy); and her great grandchildren, Samuel and Theodora. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
