Billy E. Sitts Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 86, Billy E. Sitts Sr. of Warsaw, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billy E. Sitts Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Sitts and Candice Sitts (Baker); his former wife Ruthie Sitts; his wife Janie Willard; his daughter Cynthia S. VanKersen; his stepson Doug Moore; and his sisters, Mary Shoemaker and Violet Gagnon.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Anglin (Todd) of Akron, Billy E. Sitts, Jr. (Danielle) of Cromwell, David Moore (Darlene) of Ossian, Teresa Steffe (Kevin) of Warsaw and Curt Moore (Joni) of Warsaw; and his sister Betty Poppy of Delon, Florida.. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren; and many Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (305 W Rochester St, Akron, IN 46910). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to Stillwater Hospice or to the Beaver Dam Church, the memo to Wheels on Fire to assist the community members who are fighting cancer.
