He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde T. Kester and Geneva Stucker; and his brother Thurl S. Kester (Janet). He is survived by: his wife Mary Barr; his daughters, Tristen Barr (Stephen Walsh) of Claypool and Rose Kester of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Ariel, Matthew, Hazel and Tucker.
