He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Winwood and Henrietta Rager (Williamson); his daughter Jan Marie; his wife Mary Lou; his grandson Dominic Rager; his siblings, Dean Rager and Marilee Bailey; and his son-in-law Joe Di Pietro.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Di Pietro of Indianapolis, Deb Leiter (Arden) of Pierceton and Jeff Rager of Pierceton; his sister Nancy Schuman of Colorado; and his grandchildren, Andrea O'Neill (Terrence), Jan Pfister (Jeffery), Angela Howard, Suzanne Mitchell (Mike), Josh Danner (Manda), Chris Rager (Stephanie), Tisha Rager (Sakib Ikbol) and Gabriel Rager (Kammi). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel - Pierceton (105 S First St, Pierceton, IN 46562). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
