John K. Szobody Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John K. Szobody (Warsaw, Indiana), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Szobody and Mary Szobody (Compton); and his brother Karl Szobody (Norma). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Moore (Scott), Jeffrey Szobody (Connie), James Szobody (Kim) and Jon Szobody; his wife Judy Szobody; and his sister Diane Seufert. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Titus Funeral Home-Warsaw (2000 Sheridan St, Warsaw, IN 46580). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (125 N Harrison St, Warsaw, IN 46580). A burial was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Oakwood Cemetery (421 N Maple Ave, Warsaw, IN 46580).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
