We bid farewell to John McConnell of Warsaw, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 26, 2025 at the age of 85. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bessie Geneva McConnell (Snellenberger) and Roger Nolan McConnell; his former spouse Coraethel May Webb (Alspaugh); his great grandchild Avyanna Bishop; his children, Nancy and Mark; his siblings, Linda, Dean Hair, Glen, Fanny McConnell, Patricia, Dorcas, Elzin "Kip" Kipker and David; his siblings-in-law, Joy and Dodie McConnell; and his siblings, Jim and Ann McConnell.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Engelberth McConnell of Warsaw, IN; his children, Tom J. (Tracy) McConnell and Martha K. McConnell of Friday Harbor, WA; his brother Nolan McConnell (Bonnie) of Austin, MN; his grandchildren, Michael (Krystal McConnell), Scott (Brittni McConnell), Suzanne (Garrett Bishop), Monica Rose (Nick Steinhaus) and Danielle (Everett Wood); and his great grandchildren, Owen, Sutton and Olivia McConnell. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home (225 Argonne Rd, Warsaw, IN 46580). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
