He was predeceased by: his wife Dawn; and his siblings, Walter "Butch" Jr., Ruth Wathen, Mary Lee Rudd and Jean Wintrode.
He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Heckaman (Eric); his grandchildren, Abby, Drew and Adrian Heckaman; his sister Diana Twiss (Tim); and his friends, David Parsons (Toni) and Pete Goodwin (Peggy).
