She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Pointer and Edna Pointer (Cox); her former husband Hershel E. Skaggs; her husband Robert Dean Nymeyer; her son Hershel E. Skaggs, II; and her siblings, Nancy Jeanine Pointer and Gerald Dermont Pointer.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Mendes, Deb Torres (Albert), Frank Nymeyer and Earl Nymeyer; and her grandchildren, Bethany Schuler (Steve), Adam Harrell, Jayla Fehr, Shaina Rockefeller (Eric), Michelle Carpenter (Caleb), Josh Harrell, Sean Torres (Hannah), Jose Torres (Carmen), Felecita Orona, Christy Thomas, Paul Sheldon and Charles Thomas (Ashley). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
