She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Cary and Flossie Cary (Cripe); her husband Gerald E. Showalter; and her siblings, Joyce Neff and Wayne Cary.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Showalter (Cindy) of Indianapolis and Anne Showalter of Warsaw; her granddaughter Casey McIver (Kevin) of Mooresville, NC; and her great grandchild Arthur Wayne McIver.
