He was predeceased by: his parents, Midge Makinson (Rolison) and LeRoy Makinson; and his brothers, Lee James Makinson and Paul Makinson. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Makinson of Warsaw; and his children, Jeremy Makinson (Tiffany), Jacob Makinson, Adam Makinson (Catie), Leslie Mort (Jeremy), Heidi Makinson, Whitney Makinson and Kyle. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
