She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence B. Heitman and Amy Heitman (Goshert). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Joyner; her children, Brad Joyner (Jacqui) of Leesburg and Diane Doran (Chris) of Winona Lake; and her grandchildren, Katherine Bagley (Ian), Clarke Joyner, Caroline Joyner, Keaton Joyner and Mattie Wettschurack (Kyle). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
