Shawnee leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Shawnee’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shawnee will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Ulery Jr. and Doris Ulery. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. VanKirk; and her sons, Brad VanKirk (Nichole) of Clarksville, Scott VanKirk (Zoya) of Fishers and Chad VanKirk (Donna) of Pierceton, Indiana.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to your local food bank, a cause that was close to Shawnee's heart and one she would have deeply appreciated.
