With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sondra Connolly of Warsaw, Indiana, who passed away on October 6, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hoover and Lillian "Vonnie" Hoover (Detwiler); and her siblings, Nancy Hoover Caverly and Randy Hoover. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Connolly; her children, Steve McNally (Jennifer) of Huntington, IN, Andrew Meads of Warsaw, IN, Tony Meads (Elizabeth) of Warsaw, IN, Sarah Connolly-Alonzo (Juan) of Warsaw, IN and Mackenzie Connolly (Daniel Rosas) of Alice, TX; her grandchildren, Morgan, Emma, Owen, Ella, Abbie, Madison, Taylor, Logan, Mikayla, Austin and Yuta; and her great grandchildren, Cambry and Delaney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McElhaney Funeral Home (715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the Donor's Choice in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
