It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Kay Scales of Washington, Indiana, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Kathryn Mayo Hardwick and Robert Hardwick. She is survived by : her children, Dawn Scales of Jasper, IN, Ashley Scales of Vincennes, IN and Bo Scales of Loogootee, IN; and her brother Gene Hardwick of Washington. She is also survived by five grandchildren.
