She was predeceased by: her parents, James I. Bateman and Fern McCord Bateman; her husband Dick (Dick); her sister Janis Honaker; her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Jackie Risch; and her grandchildren, Richie Gaither, Brian Potts and Whitney Risch.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Petty (Mack) of Dunedin, FL, James Risch (Dianna) of Pendleton, IN, Christopher Risch (Barbara) of Washington, IN, Kathryn Potts (Gary) of Washington, IN, David Risch (Sharon) of Washington, IN and John Risch (Elaine) of Washington, IN; and her sister Linda Gould of Noblesville, IN.. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ed L Lee Mortuary (620 E Viola Ave, Washington, IN 47501). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that gifts be made to the Washington St. Vincent dePaul Thrift Store 815 Main Street Washington, Indiana or the Alzheimer's Association.
