She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Elmore and Geneva Elmore (Maxwell); and her siblings, Sarah Kerr (Charles), Roberta Perry (James) and Robert Elmore.
She is survived by: her husband Curtis Lee Potts; her children, David Potts (Lynda) and Dana Birt (Allan); her grandsons, Derek Birt and Jeffrey Birt (Kate); and her sister-in-law Louise Elmore. She is also survived by 3 step great-grandchildren, 5 step great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to AseraCare Hospice Care, and checks should be made payable to The Amedisys Foundation with AseraCare noted in the memo. Donation envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
