He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Russell and Ruth E. "Jackson" Russell; his daughter Connie S. Russell; and his sister Wilma Collins. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Chesnut of Washington; and his sister Mary Jane Argo of Petersburg. He is also survived by grandchildren; and his seven adored great-grandchildren.
