She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Carroll (Harness) and William Eli Carroll; her children, Chalk Wessell and Julie Wessell; and her siblings, Samuel Carroll, Claude Cassada and Lucy Burris (Benton).
She is survived by: her significant other David Lemon; her daughter Chalka Wininger (James); her sister Rosie McClure; and her grandchildren, Michael Heuser, Chelsey Heuser and Sierra Jones. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
