As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lavena may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cresy Evans and Mae "Collins" Evans; her husband Ray Wampler of John's Lutheran Church; and her siblings, Izetta Edmondson, Esther McCracken and Cresy Evans Jr..
She is survived by: her caregivers, Brenda Hobbs (Stan) of Oaktown, IN, Peggy Williams (Tracy) of Washington, IN and Lavena. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
