She was predeceased by: her parents, Hessie Dirden and Katie Dirden; her husband Sam L. Smith; her brothers, Joe, Jay Lee, Hessie Lee, Jimmie Lee and Robert Lee; and her half-sister Earnestine.
She is survived by: her half-sister Annie Pearl Goodlow of Carson; her godchildren, Marilyn Renee Francis, Yvonne Owens and Robert Adam Jr.; and her cousin Antioch Baptist Church. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
