He was predeceased by : his parents, Adrain Allison and Lillian Allison (Engle). He is survived by : the mother of his children Nancy Allison (Beatty); his daughters, Jamie Muehling (Ryan) of Vernon Hills and Kristin McGuire (Shawn) of Washington; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn McGuire, Zach Muehling and Jaxon Muehling; and his siblings, Mike Allison (Linda) of Savannah, Georgia, Becky Dayton (John) of Washington, Jimmy Allison (Pat) and Marybeth Robinson (Jim) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
