He is survived by : his children, Amy Dempsey (Sean) and Clay Steward (Jamie); his grandchildren, Erik Foote (Arielle), Charles Campbell, Victoria Hudluman, Katherine Matthews, Hannah Matthews, Emily Matthews, Libby Newell, Abby Turner (Brandon), Jacob and Sylvia Steward; his great grandchildren, MariAnne Campbell, Emalyne Mitchell, Penelope, Piper and Ronan Turner; his siblings, Sue Fainot (James), Michael Steward (Jane), Paula Hawkins (David) and Mel Steward; and his close friends, Mike and Rose Honaker. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home (308 E Walnut St, Washington, IN 47501). A masonic service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
