He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Pearl Thompson (Holt) and Marvin, Sr. Thompson; and his brothers, David Thompson, John Thompson, Jerry Thompson, Ted Thompson, Timothy Thompson and Richard Thompson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kathy LaForce (Kenny) of Washington, Michael Thompson (Deborah) of Washington, Gloria Thompson of Evansville and George Thompson of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
