She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Kane and Mildred Kane; her daughter Michelle Kerns; her siblings, Mildred "Mickey" Burkhart, Daniel "Sonny" Kane and Carolyn Shafer; and her pet Bella.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Kerns; her daughter Dorinda Martin (Jerry); her nieces, Jacqueline Dyal and Alyssa Arvin (Grant); her brother James Kane (Phyllis); her sisters-in-law, Jean Kane, Sharon Peoples, Tammy Knies, Sandy Heeke and Sue Nicholson; and her pet Bo. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home (2020 State St, Washington, IN 47501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
