It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max W. Glancy of Washington, Indiana, born in Hartford City, Indiana, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John "Henry" Glancy and Helen Glancy (Johnson); his siblings, Ray Glancy and Joan Irving; and his children, Brenda Glancy and Randy Glancy.

He is survived by : his wife Frances Glancy; his son Jeff Glancy (Trudie); his granddaughter Shannon Light (Ben); his great grandchildren, Luna and Lane Light; and his siblings, Marjorie Michaud of Hartford City, IN, Beverly Malott of Montpelier, IN, Sharon Roush (Jim) of Montpelier, IN, Jim Glancy (Sharon) of Hartford City, IN, John Glancy of Hartford City, IN and Phil Glancy of Hartford City, IN. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home (109 W Windsor St, Montpelier, IN 47359). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
