She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Essig and Elizabeth Essig (Clements); her former husband Hugh F. Billings; her husband Gene C. Doyle of Loogootee; her children, Gene Doyle Jr. and Ceil Billings; and her siblings, Imogene Essig, John Essig and Paul Essig.

She is survived by: her children, Terri Bradley (Steve), Janet Dahl (Kenn), David Doyle (Anita), Nancy Elliott (Mike) and Holly Billings (Mimi); her grandchildren, Jodi Baker (Garrett), Erin Russell (Ryan), Jeff Bradley (Sydney), Kim Lynch (Adam), Logan Dahl (Emma), Nolan Dahl, Shayna Doyle, Brandon Doyle, Emily Elliott (Roxy) and Kevin Elliott; her great grandchildren, Clara, Lincoln, Anson and Charlie; and her sister-in-law Rachel Doyle.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Washington Catholic Schools, or Feed My Sheep.
