She was predeceased by : her parents, Otis John and Nora Ellen Bynum (Thomas); her husband Vernia Leon Conrad; and her siblings, Norma Fleck, Yvonne Bynum, Joseph Bynum, Samuel Bynum and John Bynum.

She is survived by : her daughters, Mona McCormick of Washington, Amanda DiMaggio (Daniel) of Washington and Samantha Brito (Luis) of Washington; her granddaughter Everly DiMaggio; her great grandchildren, Correno, Nakia, Ellah, Kylar and Bella; and her siblings, Esther Groves and David Bynum of Washington.
