We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2024, at the age of 95, Sewell Dwain Vernon in Washington, Indiana, born in Friendship, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Vernon and Effie Vernon (Young); and his siblings, Waymon Vernon, Virgil Vernon and Hazel Farmer.

He is survived by : his sister Sherry Headden; his sons, Larry (Beverly), Steve and David; his grandchildren, Dustin (Amanda), Ashley Vernon-Meeks (Ben), Philip, Matthew (Sable), Cathryn, Clare and Dominic; and his great grandchildren, GraceAnna, Caelan and Cecilia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
