He was predeceased by: his father Ambrose "Hootie" Dant. He is survived by: his mother Nancy Dant (Myers); his wife Cathy Dant (Williams); his children, Patrick Dant (Natasha L.), Angela M. Dant (Aric Mitchell) and Craig Dant (Darah); his grandchildren, Jaydee Dant (Gunnar Jones), Leigha Dant, Kaitlyn Mitchell, Kaden Mitchell, Kyzer Mitchell and Lincoln Dant; and his sisters, Tena Williams and Mona Barnard (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
