Vera Pearl McLemore Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Pearl McLemore of Washington, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Vera departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Vera. Though Vera may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Kilps and Theresa Kilps; her husband Don McLemore; and her siblings, Joseph Kilps, Dale Kilps, Doris Strange, Rita Burns and Ruth Bradley.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Lorene Kilps.
