Garry L. Mertz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2025, at the age of 77, Garry L. Mertz of Waterloo, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mertz and Lou Ann Mertz (Blevins); his sister-in-law Pat Mertz; and his niece Rachelle Mertz. He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Cheryl Mertz) of Columbia City and Carolynn (Patrick Sullivan) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Kyle Mertz (Crystal) of Columbia City and Jared Mertz (Gabrielle) of Fort Wayne; his great grandchild Zoey Mertz of Columbia City; his brother Jim Mertz of New Haven; his nephew Paul Mertz of Fort Wayne; his close friend Della Huffman of Waterloo; and also Tammy Musser of Hudson. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
