She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Bushong and Louise Bloom (Sobasky); her husband Don E. Smith of Waterloo; her sisters, Mary Lou Ballentine, Jean Waters and Cindy Thames; and her son-in-law Gary Wishmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela of Indianapolis, Karen, Paula and Larry; her grandchildren, Kyle (Yang Roark), Sabrina (Jeff Hermansen), Kayla (Garrett Mitchell), Shayla (Chris Jacobs), Dustin (Madde Wishmeyer), Derek (Allie Kappes), Kadre (Larry Pershing), Jason Kappes, Jill (TJ Fletcher), Myles (Abby Smith), Spenser (Leslee Smith) and Dylan Smith; her cousin Scarlet Sobasky; Rick Roark of Waterloo, Chris Kappes of Libertyville and Rhonda Smith of Waterloo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1098 Co Rd 39, Waterloo, IN 46793). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Lorraine's memory to St. Michael Church of Waterloo.
