He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Damron and Emma Damron (Layne); his son Keith Damron; and his brother Claude Damron. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Gay Damron (Charles) of Auburn; his children, Christopher Damron of Syracuse, Bradford Damron (Maggie) of Ashley and Rebecca Damron of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Anissa Carter (Jeremy) of Hamilton, Sergeant Zakkairy Johnson (Cassie) of Charleston, Josephine Johnson of Huntington, Amber Stafford (Dempsey) of Corunna and Victoria Damron (Andrew) of Lebanon; his great grandchildren, Andrew Johnson of Hamilton, Alexander Morgan of Hamilton, Grayson Johnson of Charleston and Prudance Manard of Huntington; and his siblings, Jimmy Damron of Angola, Avonell Patrick of Tram and Bobby Damron (Amalene) of Dayton, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (875 S Wayne St, Waterloo, IN 46793). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Feller and Clark Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
