We are sad to announce that, on October 16, 2025, at the age of 96, Merriel Myers of Waterloo, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merriel Myers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Nodine and Mabel Nodine (Goe); her husband R. DeVon Myers; and her siblings, Patricia Korff and Dr. Duane Nodine.

She is survived by: her children, Janell Y Grear of Auburn, Marcia D Haskins (Terry) of Waterloo, Vonda L Akey (Kenneth) of Waterloo and Kevin R Myers (Sheila) of Conyers, GA; her grandchildren, Brad Haskins, Angie Zimmerman, Neah Eltzroth, Kraig Akey, Brittany Myers and Shawn Myers; and her great grandchild Sister Sally A Bonecutter (Thayer "Ike") of Celina, TN..

Memorials can be given in memory of Merriel to Waterloo First Grace Church or the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
