He is survived by: his wife Laurie Griffin of Waterloo; his children, Sarah Griffin (Sami) of Broomfield, Colorado. and Samuel Griffin of Richmond, Indiana.; his sister Robin; and his brother-in-law Thomas Foley of Birmingham, Alabama..
