It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles R. McMurry of Waveland, Indiana, born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert L. McMurry and Grace Wilkinson McMurry; his former life partner Rosalie Ann Larew; his half-brother Dwight; and his grandson Jason.

He is survived by : his children, David McMurry (Cindy), Deanna Ellingwood (Ron), Dale McMurry (Kelly) and Darin McMurry (Terri); and also, Connie Hughes Kesler (Bill) and Randy Hughes (Shirley). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
