He was predeceased by : his parents, Furman Seward and Doris Lientz Seward; his wife Violet Lucille Lawson Seward; and his sisters, Ella Meadows, Darlene Cozad and Doris Seward.

He is survived by : his children, Ronald Seward (Tammie), Linda K. Hopkins (Dan) and Glenda M. Latham (John); and his brother Ted Seward (Betty). He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
