He is survived by: his wife Betty Hall Byrd; his children, Jessie Lee Smith (Doug), Kathy L. Henson (Eddie), Sandra Davis-Skeen (Darryl) and Michael Jason Byrd (Erin); his grandchildren, Michaela Smith, Joshua Henson, Amber Rouse, Jeremy Davis and Ethan Byrd; and his sisters, Dollie (late Kenny), Jeanette (Raymond), Wanda, Patty (Jim) and Teresa (David). He is also survived by many friends; and his stepchildren and step grandchildren.
