It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ward Farrell of West Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carol has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Ward and Martha Ward (Walsh); and her brother Bob Ward. She is survived by: her close friend Timothy J. Hendrickson; her children, Kelly Farrell (Bryce) of West Lafayette and Mason Farrell (Madison) of Idaville; her siblings, Tom Ward (Diane) of Auburn, IN and Joan Land (Bert) of Hope, IN.; and her grandchildren, Sarah and Miles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brookston Cemetery (101 W 4th St, Brookston, IN 47923).
