She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Pitstick and Audrey Pitstick (Lohr); her son Trooper Todd Burman; and her grandson Nicholas Strole. She is survived by: her children, Julie Paxton (Mike) of Oxford, IN, Sara Bishop (Brad) of West Lafayette, IN and Benjamin Strole (Theresa) of LaPorte, IN.; her grandchildren, Ethan Paxton, Jocelyn McCombs (Brandon), Mason Bishop (Kendall), Cade Bishop (Lexie), Marleigh Bishop (Samuel Gerber), Patrick Bishop, Jake Bishop, Lucy Bishop, Maggie Bishop, Charlotte Bishop and Willow Strole; her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Hudson, Owen Knobloch, Wyatt and Everleigh Bishop; and her siblings, Linda Templin (Tom), Nancy Grenard (late Brad), Barbara Jewell (Jim), Richard Pitstick (Mary), Rodney Pitstick (late Sandra) and Sharon Pitstick. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Evelyn's name to any local pet shelter to support their spay-neuter programs.
